Terms of Use

Last updated and verified: July 26, 2026.

Independent website notice: MiniMax-AI.chat is an independent informational website and limited text demonstration. It is not owned, operated, sponsored, endorsed, or supported by MiniMax. Official MiniMax accounts, billing, API access, products, and support are governed only by MiniMax’s own terms and channels.

About these Terms

These Terms state the rules for accessing and using MiniMax-AI.chat (the “Site”). The Site is independently operated by an individual (the “Operator”). By using the Site, you agree to follow these rules to the extent permitted by applicable law. If you do not agree, do not use the Site or its demo.

The Operator does not publish personal residential or jurisdictional details on the Site. These Terms therefore do not select a governing law, court, arbitration forum, or exclusive dispute procedure. Mandatory rights and laws that apply to you cannot be excluded by these Terms.

Age requirement

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Site, public demo, or contact route. Do not submit information about a child.

What the Site provides

The Site publishes independent educational and editorial material about MiniMax models, products, APIs, pricing, access routes, safety, and use cases. It also provides a limited public text demo for brief, low-risk experiments.

  • The demo accepts text only.
  • Each message is limited to 1,000 characters.
  • There is no document, image, audio, or video upload.
  • As of the verification date, there is no visitor-facing model selector and no displayed model ID.
  • There is no MiniMax-AI.chat visitor account or account-based saved conversation archive.
  • The Site does not issue official MiniMax API keys, manage official accounts, sell MiniMax subscriptions, process refunds, or provide official MiniMax support.

An article can discuss a capability that is not available in the public demo. Do not assume that a named model or product described on an editorial page powers the demo.

How demo messages are processed

When you submit a demo message, it is sent through the Site’s server to the MiniMax API so a response can be generated and returned to your browser. Limited recent context can remain in browser-session memory and be included with a later request.

The Operator does not intentionally store full demo prompts or generated responses in the WordPress database. That statement does not mean a message is confidential or that MiniMax, Cloudflare, hosting, security, advertising, consent, or other infrastructure systems keep no logs or technical records. Read the Privacy & Data Use Notice and Security page before using the demo.

Permitted use

Use the Site only for lawful, brief, low-risk purposes and only with information you are authorized to share. You remain responsible for your prompts, actions, decisions, publications, code, and use of any output.

Prohibited use

  • Do not use the Site to facilitate fraud, impersonation, phishing, harassment, exploitation, illegal surveillance, malware, unauthorized access, rights infringement, or other unlawful or harmful activity.
  • Do not overload, flood, scrape at a disruptive rate, probe, reverse engineer, bypass, or interfere with the Site, demo, advertising, consent, rate-limit, login, or security systems.
  • Do not create artificial advertisement impressions, clicks, traffic, or revenue.
  • Do not attempt to access another person’s information, the WordPress administration area, server controls, API credentials, or non-public systems.
  • Do not misrepresent the Site or its output as an official MiniMax statement, service, endorsement, support response, model result, or contractual quotation.
  • Do not submit material you do not have the legal right or permission to process.

Ordinary search-engine crawling that follows the Site’s published technical directives is not prohibited by this section.

Information you must not submit

  • Passwords, API keys, access tokens, authentication codes, cookies, recovery phrases, or private keys.
  • Payment-card details, banking information, tax records, government identifiers, or private financial material.
  • Health, biometric, genetic, insurance, mental-health, or other sensitive records.
  • Private legal documents, privileged communications, sealed records, or litigation strategy.
  • Customer, employee, applicant, student, or children’s personal information.
  • Trade secrets, unreleased source code, confidential contracts, exploitable vulnerability details, or proprietary datasets.
  • Any content you are not authorized to disclose to an external online service.

AI output and editorial information

AI output can be false, incomplete, inconsistent, biased, offensive, insecure, outdated, or unsuitable. It can invent facts, people, quotations, citations, links, products, prices, laws, endpoints, package names, or code behavior. Fluent or confident wording is not proof of accuracy.

  • Verify material claims against reliable primary sources.
  • Inspect links and citations before relying on them.
  • Review and test code, commands, dependencies, permissions, and configuration in an isolated environment.
  • Use qualified human review before a consequential decision.

Editorial pages are independent summaries and commentary, not official documentation or contractual quotations. Models, features, limits, prices, credits, availability, licenses, and policies can change. Confirm important purchasing, production, legal, privacy, licensing, or commercial information through the relevant official source or signed agreement.

No professional or emergency service

The Site and demo do not provide legal, medical, mental-health, financial, investment, tax, accounting, insurance, employment, compliance, cybersecurity, engineering, safety, or other professional advice. They are not emergency, crisis, incident-response, law-enforcement, or safety-critical services. Contact an appropriately qualified professional or authorized emergency route for your location and circumstances.

Content, output, and intellectual-property rights

Website text, design, software, images, advertisements, linked material, model output, and third-party names can be protected by copyright, trademark, contract, privacy, publicity, database, or other rights. Access to a page does not grant a license beyond normal Site use, rights expressly granted by the relevant rights holder, and rights provided by applicable law.

No output is guaranteed to be original, exclusive, copyrightable, non-infringing, confidential, accurate, or cleared for commercial use. You are responsible for checking the applicable provider terms, source material, permissions, licenses, and law before reproducing, publishing, selling, or deploying content.

Advertising, consent, and third-party services

The Site uses Google AdSense and a published Google Privacy & messaging consent interface. It also uses Cloudflare, Cloudflare Web Analytics, Contact Form 7, Loginizer, the MiniMax API, and hosting and email infrastructure. These providers control their own systems, processing, availability, and terms.

An advertisement or external link does not by itself mean that MiniMax-AI.chat endorses the destination, product, download, offer, or claim. Check the URL, publisher, permissions, price, renewal terms, privacy notice, and security information before creating an account, installing software, providing data, or paying.

A cookie or advertising consent choice is not acceptance of these Terms. Use the Cookie Policy and displayed consent controls to manage relevant choices.

Availability and changes

The Site and demo can be unavailable, delayed, rate-limited, changed, restricted, or withdrawn without a service-level commitment. Do not depend on them for a time-critical, confidential, production, or high-impact workflow. The Operator may suspend access or take protective action when reasonably necessary to address abuse, security, legal, provider, or operational concerns.

Disclaimers and limits

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Site, editorial content, demo, and output are provided on an “as available” basis without a promise of uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or preservation of data. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability or consumer rights that applicable law does not permit to be excluded.

Contact and disputes

Before escalating a Site-related concern, you can email [email protected] with the affected URL, a concise description, and the resolution requested. Do not send credentials or unnecessary sensitive information. These Terms do not impose arbitration, waive a right to complain to a regulator, or select an exclusive court.

Changes to these Terms

These Terms can be updated when the Site, demo, provider stack, operating rules, or applicable requirements change. The date at the top identifies the current version. Continued use after a posted update is subject to the updated rules to the extent permitted by applicable law.
